Faith Community Church is committed to declaring God’s glory among the nations and to making His wonders known among all peoples (Psalm 96:2-3). We have therefore set as a vision the exaltation of Christ as Lord in all things, with the end that, above all, God might be glorified! (Psalm 67) In obedience to God’s Word, this vision includes making disciples of all the nations, baptizing them, and teaching them to observe all He has commanded (Matt. 28:19) so that His way may be known on earth and His salvation known among all nations, that the peoples might praise Him, and that the nations might be glad and sing for joy (Psalm 67).
Acts 1:8 Ministry
The Acts 1:8 vision is to see Christ exalted in our community. Our goals are to see the church’s intentional, persistent witness for Christ to grow (Acts 1:8), to proclaim the message of reconciliation to all who will hear in our community, and urge them to be reconciled to God (2 Cor. 5:20), and to see new disciples brought into the body, discipled in our church, and sent back out to be disciple-makers (Matthew 28:19-20)
