What do we Believe?

Faith Community Church is committed to the biblical and historical theology of the Reformation. We eagerly affirm Sola Scriptura (Scripture alone), Sola Gratia (by grace alone), and Sola Fide (through faith alone) as defining emphases of Evangelical Christianity. We are evangelical Calvinists who delight in the Sovereignty of God. We view God’s election of sinners to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ as the grounds of our assurance that God’s redemptive purpose – and our proclamation of the Gospel – will not fail nor be defeated. We are inspired by this to send men, women, and resources to the ends of the earth in our desire to be a means through which are gathered those whom “Christ purchased by his own blood, for God”, from “every tribe and tongue and people and nation”.
